The Board of Education is changing

the way it does business...

New Committee of the Whole meeting one week prior to the regular board meeting allows the public greater access to the board and its decisions.
Board discusses its committee work and agenda items in public one week before voting on issues.

Earlier this year, the board held a series of public meetings that featured budget presentations by building principals and district administrators.

Dear Holman Families:

Please join me in acknowledging Ms. Jane Schadl, our 2008 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Schadl is a caring, innovative and enthusiastic teacher that enjoys what she does. She makes sure every child in our school has an opportunity to read and encourages her students to read about what they love. She goes the extra mile to help those in need, whether it is a student or staff member. She provides her students and staff with a warm, learning environment. Ms. Schadl is dependable, encouraging, and proves to be an excellent role model for both children and adults. She has distinguished herself as a compassionate employee, dedicated professional, and a conscientious member of our staff.

Congratulations Ms. Schadl, we are so glad to have you here at the Lucy N. Holman School!
